The Role
As our Technical IT Projects Co-Ordinator, you will assist with the delivery of IT services to our ever-expanding partner base. You will be responsible for planning and managing all IT-related projects whilst handling administrative tasks such as provisioning, hardware orders and scheduling engineering diaries.
Day to day, you will organise your queue that your Team Leader has allocated you and join check-in sessions to document progress and address any obstacles that are delaying delivery. Each week you will join a Work In Progress (WIP) meeting where you will be required to provide an update on the status of your projects and any projects going live.
Some travel to our other offices may be required, as would advising Account Managers as part of pre-sale activities.
Responsibilities
- Planning projects that have been received from the sales team.
- Facilitating and holding initial kick-off meetings with sales, engineering and the customer, on site if needed.
- Consistently updating customers on the progress of their orders.
- Providing documentation and a clear handover to both the client and the support teams.
- Responsible for always delivering world-class service.
- Creating accurate assets and assigning to customer agreements.
- Raising purchase orders on Halo and ensuring prices are accurate to supplier.
- Ordering services and hardware.
- Provisioning of licences such as Microsoft.
- Booking in stock and managing stock.
- Scheduling engineers to attend site for installation and training.
- Creating task tickets for engineers as part of project planning.
Desirable Experience
- Formal project management training such as PRINCE2 Foundation, ITIL v4, or Agile/Scrum certification.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, and general IT infrastructure (networks, servers, endpoints and security).
- Experience working alongside engineers, account managers and delivery leads to ensure smooth project handover and closure.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in IT project coordination or project support, ideally within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or similar technical environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Confident communicator, able to translate between technical teams and non-technical clients.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Planner, SharePoint).
- A positive, professional and client-focused attitude.
- Highly organised and proactive approach to workload.
- Keen interest in developing a career in IT project management and service delivery.
