Pedalling for a Purpose: Flotek’s Charity Ride from St Asaph to Bridgend
At Flotek, we’re driven by innovation, collaboration—and compassion. In May 2026, we’re embarking on a powerful journey that reflects all three. From 15th to 17th May, a team of 15 riders, including all six Flotek directors, will cycle 180 miles from our St Asaph office to our Bridgend office to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and the Pine Cancer Therapy Unit, our chosen charities for 2024 and 2025.
This isn’t just a ride—it’s a tribute. The dates were chosen in memory of Malcolm’s father, who sadly passed away on 16th May 2022. Cancer has touched many of our lives, and this ride is our way of honouring those we’ve lost, supporting those still fighting, and contributing to the incredible work being done by these two vital organisations.
Over the course of three days, our riders will cover approximately 60 miles per day, navigating the beautiful but challenging Welsh landscape. It’s a test of endurance, teamwork, and heart—and we’re inviting our wider Flotek community to be part of it.
We’re aiming to raise £5,000 between now and May 2026, and we’re calling on our suppliers, partners, and supporters to help us reach that goal. One way to get involved is by sponsoring our custom Flotek cycling jersey. Sponsors will have their logo featured prominently, gaining visibility throughout the ride and in all our promotional materials, social media coverage, and press outreach.
This is a unique opportunity to show your support for a cause that affects so many, while aligning your brand with a meaningful initiative that reflects Flotek’s values of care, community, and commitment.
If you’d like to sponsor a rider, reach out to us.
We’re currently finalising our full team of riders from across Flotek, and we’ll be sharing updates, training progress, and stories from the road as we prepare for the big event. Whether you’re a supplier, partner, customer, or friend—thank you for being part of this journey.
Together, we ride for hope. We ride for healing. We ride for a future free from cancer.
