Two more new starters join Flotek in May

The Purple Army continues to grow, with more talent joining the team and strengthening what we're building at Flotek.

Here's a closer look at two of the people making an impact behind the scenes.

Josh Smith – Business Development Executive
Josh brings a resilient, driven mindset to the Business Development team, with a real focus on building relationships and continuously learning new skills.

"I see myself as a loyal and hardworking team member who enjoys speaking with new people and developing my skillset wherever I can."

Josh holds an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service, along with Health & Safety and Fire certifications, giving him a solid foundation for working closely with clients and delivering a professional experience.

Outside of work, Josh is a big family person and spends a lot of time with his dog. Weekends are often spent out on the golf course with friends, while evenings are a mix of dog walks with his fiancé, cooking, and exploring new ideas around AI.

Marc Thomas – Senior IT Helpdesk Technician
Marc joins the team with a strong technical background and a wealth of experience, backed by professional memberships with both the Institute of Engineering and Technology and the Chartered Management Institute.

Having previously served in HM Forces, Marc brings discipline, structure, and a practical approach to problem solving in his role on the helpdesk.

Marc also holds CMI Level 3 in Command Management and Level 2 in Line Management, reinforcing his leadership and technical capabilities.

Outside of work, Marc enjoys socialising with friends and spending time working on cars as an amateur mechanic. With a daughter currently at university, family remains a big part of life alongside everything else.
